ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on describing the catalytic hydrotreating (HDT) process using fixed-bed reactors (FBRs). Details are provided on the use of quenching between catalytic beds, reactor internals, process variables, HDT catalysts, and catalyst deactivation. The HIDRO-IMP technology is also described.
