ABSTRACT
This chapter provides the exact solutions for the three-dimensional Cosserat Elasticity. The solutions are derived for the Cosserat rectangular cuboids of different width-to-thickness ratios. The obtained data is used for the validation of the Cosserat Plate Theory and the Finite Element Method for Cosserat Plates. It also provides the insight into the geometric restrictions for the Cosserat plates.
