ABSTRACT
This chapter provides the validation of the Cosserat Plate Theory. We provide the solutions for the simply supported plate and compare them with the exact solutions of the three-dimensional Cosserat Elasticity. The comparison shows the consilience between the Cosserat Plate Theory and the three-dimensional Cosserat Elasticity.
