ABSTRACT
The ac power fundamentals are reviewed in this chapter, which includes the operator-j and the algebra of complex numbers needed to represent the ac voltage, current, and power as complex numbers (phasors). The impedance and power triangles of R-L-C circuit, 1-phase and 3-phase, and Y- and Delta-connected power systems are covered.
