ABSTRACT
The circuit model of the ac generator and its output power is analyzed along with the effect of rotor field excitation on the operating power factor. The transient stability limit and the speed and frequency regulations, load sharing among multiple generators, drooping and isosynchronous generators, and voltage regulators are also covered.
