ABSTRACT
Starting with various types of transformers, this chapter covers the kVA rating, cooling methods, 3-phase Delta and V-connections, magnetizing inrush current, 3-winding transformer, percentage and per unit systems, equivalent impedance at different voltage, and the influence of transformer impedance on fault current and voltage regulation.
