ABSTRACT
Power distribution schemes from 3-phase source to the final 3-phase and 1-phase loads, grounded and ungrounded systems, ground fault detection methods, voltage drops in normal operation and during motor starting, and voltage boost using capacitors are covered in this chapter. Included are the bus bar resistance and leakage reactance calculations, high-frequency distribution, and automatic bus transfer scheme.
