ABSTRACT
Presented in this chapter is the fault current analyses for symmetrical and asymmetrical faults, the transient and subtransient reactance, and the first peak offset factors for the worst case design, generator and transformer terminal fault currents, motor contribution to the fault, and a simplified determination of the circuit breaker rating.
