ABSTRACT
How old are “requirements”? What is required from a requirement? Requirements need to be first documented, otherwise they’d be rumors. Then they’ll need to be clearly defined before getting enforced for implementation. The role of language in written forms of communication is not to be underestimated. As writers, we have the virtue of simplifying things, especially in complex contexts. Just as the first act of creation involved words, maintaining that direction can be helpful for the creations to come. From conception to delivery, language plays a vital role. Misusing words undermines the whole purpose of communication.
