ABSTRACT

With a holistic understanding of the creative process, and in particular the phase where new illuminating insights occur, one can embark on articulating it through a conceptually designed blueprint which lends itself to a platform for application development in the area of computational creativity. With recent advances in artificial intelligence, including machine learning, we might just now have the tools to develop applications that will augment and facilitate the human cognitive process and eventually perhaps replace and supersede it. This is an endeavour where artificial intelligence is truly put to test by trying to emulate the human mind’s finest and most treasured faculty, our ability to create.
