ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with pre-dimensioning and drawing of a composite part. Based on the architecture of the part, on the forces applied and depending on the correct orientation of the plies, pre-sizing guide values are given. We focus on the concerns related to the resistance and the deformation under loading of Quadrangle Symmetric Laminates (with median plane symmetry). One carries out a pre-sizing using tables. We also deal with complex load cases and the problem of optimal composition of this type of laminate.
