ABSTRACT
This chapter demonstrates the relationship between systems engineering and cost-effectiveness, whereby the latter explicitly ties into the process of systems architecting. The important topic of analysis of alternatives (AoA) is discussed. Both the MITRE approach and INCOSE systems engineering handbook are explored.
