ABSTRACT
This chapter starts with a C-17 aircraft analysis. This is followed by an exploration of a Navy cargo cost-benefit analysis. Issues regarding the joint strike fight are then examined. Next, a brief look at National Missile Defense is provided. Effectiveness in Space is next addressed, to include set of MOEs for the Cheyenne Mountain facility. Selected budget items are cited along with issues of cost growth provided by the RAND corporation. The chapter concludes with a note on transparency.
