ABSTRACT
During the last several years, precast UHPC bridges, architectural UHPC, precast UHPC members for utilities, urban furnishings, and interior decoration elements have been installed to meet usage purposes. UHPC is also a promising material for cast-in-situ applications, including bridge deck overlays, strengthening slabs, joint fill-in bridge decks to connect two adjacent prefabricated elements, and rehabilitation of existing deteriorated concrete elements. This chapter describes specific applications and case studies of UHPC in infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges, structural/architectural members, bridge deck overlays, crash barrier walls, structural rehabilitation and strengthening, urban finishing, and decorative arts.
