ABSTRACT
This chapter presents available raw materials, including cement, supplementary cementitious materials, aggregate, nanoparticles, mixing water, chemical admixture, fibers, and internal curing agents, used for the preparation of UHPC. The characteristics of each raw material and their effects on the workability and hardened properties of UHPC are discussed. An appropriate selection of high-quality raw materials with optimal content and without incompatibility issues should be considered to prepare UHPC with excellent properties.
