ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the fresh properties of UHPC, including mini-slump flow, slump-retention ability (slump flow life), temperature, air content, setting time, and rheological properties. The effects of different factors, including characteristics of cementitious materials, chemical admixture contents and types, fibers, nanomaterials, and superabsorbent polymers, on the workability of UHPC mixtures are discussed. It can provide a relationship between the characteristics or content of materials used and the fresh properties of UHPC.
