ABSTRACT

The methodology developed for the assessment of epidemic hazards of viral infection using the example of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, referred to as Deep Hazard Identification (DHI), enables detailed analysis of the imminent threats on the basis of process maps and dedicated quantitative scales used to assess the criteria which affect the mechanisms of virus transmission. The matrix of hazard assessment for transport services, developed against the threats of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, allows for a collective table of hazard factors to be created for a selected group of transport services, consequently making it possible to identify the dominant sources of hazard and to compare services in the context of the risk attributable to epidemic threats.
