ABSTRACT
Many of today’s apps offer a nearby place search function, which is not possible without a huge amount of place-related data. However, this data is notoriously difficult to obtain for both enterprise and individual developers. Site Kit is thereby designed to address this challenge, so you can build place search-related functions into your app with minimal effort. After you have your app integrated with Site Kit, the kit will automatically complete the place name as a keyword is being entered, and proactively recommend other potential places of interest for the user. Furthermore, its reverse geocoding function can use the device coordinates to query the street where the user is located, while also displaying the geographical location and related information for a place of interest.
Site Kit currently serves approximately 170 million POIs, spreading across over 200 countries and regions, and is available in 89 different languages. It lets you offer your users powerful place-related functions that are global in scope.
