ABSTRACT
Total Manufacturing Assurance (TMA) is the fundamental concept underlying the content of this book. The TMA approach includes three integral elements: (1) Strategic Manufacturing Management, (2) Manufacturing System Control, and (3) System Improvement Monitoring. Of critical importance is the emphasis of the Create, Control, and Critique approach to advancing the organization. That is, Create a strategic vision, Control the means to strategically realize the vision, and Critique performance in attaining the expected strategic results.
