ABSTRACT

Assembling different types of 2D heterostructural nanosheets offers an amazing opportunity for the design of new and improved artificial materials by bringing together the unique characteristics of every component. Black phosphorus (BP) has been recognized in recent years as a highly feasibly 2D material with excellent electrostructural properties, a tunable bandwidth and strong in-plan anisotropy, highlighting its suitability as a material for heterostructural construction. This chapter discusses the interaction of BP with different polymers and 2D material and their potential applications.
