ABSTRACT
This third chapter is planned to impart the concepts behind image noise, the types of noise, and the factors influencing image noise. The methods to overcome the different types of noise with the relevant MATLAB codes aid learning and pave the way for complete understanding. The chapter ends with a quiz and review questions along with their answers, and suggestions for further reading.
