ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the Newton-Cotes method is discussed for approximation of the integral, which is not easily solvable by analytical methods. This chapter is prepared for Chapter 8, which discovers these methods for the interval-valued functions. Several numerical methods with their properties are brought here.
