ABSTRACT
One of the most important areas of physics is classical mechanics. In this chapter, we explore how differential geometry can facilitate formulations of classical mechanics that are both elegant and powerful. This will lead us to the rich structures of tangent bundles and cotangent bundles. This is just a glimpse into the theory of fibre bundles, which underlie a great many fields within physics and beyond.
