ABSTRACT

A database is a great invention that acts as a separate application to store multiple collections of data. Each database has one or more distinct application programming interfaces for producing, accessing, operating, searching, and duplication the data it possesses. The antitrust of the European Union had been ready to spare MySQL by refusing the condition for approval but, as revealed by WikiLeaks, the US Department of Justice, at the request of Oracle, supposedly pressured the EU to approve the merger unconditionally. A relational database like MySQL organizes data into one or more data tables in which data types are in direct relation to each other; these relations therefore assist to structure the data correctly. SQL is a language programmers apply to create, edit, and extract data from the relational database as well as manage user access to the database. MySQL is an open-source RDBMS that works on many platforms.
