ABSTRACT

Data modeling is the process of operating and analyzing data models for resources located in a database. The data model is an abstract system that standardizes the data specification, data semantic, and consistency limitations of data. The bigger the scope of data circulates in an organization, the more advanced data modeling tool is required. The functionality potential of these tools can be very broad and impressive. The use of data modeling software connects and clears the information flow as well as verifies the correct representation of all data items necessary by the database. Modeling disentangles database design and operability by enabling you, the data manager, to visualize requirements and settle design issues. Model-based database design is a well-structured methodology for producing valid and efficient databases while securing the flexibility to respond to expanding data requirements.
