ABSTRACT
Password has been one of the most commonly known forms of authentication, authorization, and identification from the ages. The evolution of strong passwords was driven by different kinds of password cracking techniques developed by the computer hackers. The importance of passwords in the modern ecosystems of mobile devices, Internet of Things, Bring Your Own Device, cloud-based services, and millions of mobile applications has increased significantly. In old days, the hacking of the password was limited to either shoulder surfing or guessing based on the person’s information or behavior. 1Password password manager platform is considered one of the best options for the iPhones and iPads despite the fact that it supports other mobile platforms too. In the presence of so many services of password managers that offer almost same kinds of services, features, and commercial incentives, it becomes very tricky for a common mobile user to choose the right one.
