ABSTRACT
Cellular technology is a type of communication network that uses multiple small wireless networks commonly known as cells at the last link of entire communication network. In the cellular technology, the last mile of the communication is necessarily the wireless network of multiple cells that fully coordinate with each other and are controlled by the other elements of cellular network, such as Base Station Controller, BTS, and Mobile Switching Center, and other data controlling units. The future of the cellular technology will remain very promising due to numerous emerging trends and technologies. The Fifth Generation cellular network has just been rolled out in a few countries. The work on the next generation commonly referred to as the sixth-generation cellular technology has already begun in a few universities and research institutes. The researchers at Kurlsruhe Institute of Technology have already used a modulator for electromagnetic waves and photo signal conversion.
