ABSTRACT
Mobile security threat is a very commonplace word in the market nowadays. This term is used to specify the general threats to the mobile device, data, and applications on the mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, Personal Digital Assistants, and others. The physical threat to the mobile devices includes physical damage or theft of data done by exploiting the mobile devices physically. The communication between mobile devices connected to the Internet takes place through networks, which are interconnected with each other. A thorough understanding of how to use mobile devices securely is very important to keep different kinds of mobile security threats at bay. Phishing is one of the major mobile security threats in the present field of mobile cybersecurity. Malicious applications are the software programs maliciously designed for providing some security services to the mobile devices. Wi-Fi is one of the most popular wireless technologies used for the mobile as well as for the personal computers worldwide.
