ABSTRACT

Force is a measure of the mechanical motion exerted on a body by other bodies or field. Force is considered to be a physical entity, which tends to accelerate any physical body to which it is applied. The rate of change of momentum of a particle is directly proportional to the magnitude of force acting on it and inversely proportional to the mass of the particle. Energy occurs in many forms, like potential energy (PE), Kinetic energy (KE), Internal energy, heat energy, nuclear energy, electric energy, wind energy, solar energy etc. Radiant energy is transmitted in the electromagnetic radiation. Wind Energy has been in use in some form or the other as a source of power from the dawn of civilization. In 1931, the Russians erected their first wind mill to generate electricity at Yalta near the Black Sea. Air in motion is called wind. It has mass and its source of energy is the sun.
