ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the risk, reliability, and safety assessment of offshore industries. Various quantitative and qualitative methods of risk assessment tools and risk characterization techniques are discussed in detail. Detailed discussions on reliability assessment and safety practices, as applicable to offshore industries, are also discussed. Exercise questions are given at the end of the chapter.
