ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to deep learning optimization applications. A theoretical background discussion of deep unidirectional, bi-directional long short-term memory (LSTM and Bi-LSTM) and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) is presented and also topology and weight swarm and evolutionary optimization methods applied on those deep learning methods. The experimental part of this chapter is involved with swarm intelligence and evolutionary computation examples implemented on deep learning models including an illustrative example of covid19 diagnosis from chest x-ray images.
