ABSTRACT

Some of the main topics covered in the book are briefly summarized. They include the need for young people to develop resilience and not to be subject to indoctrination. School curricula should be free of ideological beliefs and critical thinking should be given emphasis. Political philosophy should be taught free of indoctrination. A more balanced teaching of history should be given to accentuate the accomplishments as well as the failures. Tertiary education should revert to encouragement of meritocracy. Energy policies need to be revised to be open to preservation of fossil fuels and adoption of nuclear energy. Australia is rich in these energy sources so it should be in the nation’s best interest that they be utilized. There is an increasing trend for corporate leaders to meddle in politically correct policies instead of focusing on economic aspects. There is a need for elected representatives to be statesmen/women rather than just politicians.
