ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we focus on designing DOF controllers for systems with event-triggered control inputs, which can significantly save the data transmissions and in the meanwhile maintain the system performance at a satisfactory level. The DOF controllers which transmit the control signal based on a predefined UIS, are designed for systems with either continuous or sampled output measurements. It is shown that, with the proposed event-triggered control scheme, the global uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop systems is guaranteed and the inter-event interval is lower bounded by a positive scalar. Finally, a numerical example is used to verify the effectiveness and the merits of the proposed controller design techniques.
