ABSTRACT
The climate, the past weather event that existed over larger region and covering long years of more than 30 years is very important for the emergence and successful sustenance of an organism including human kind. Each State Agricultural Universities has divided their State into different agro-climatic sub-zones and this resulted in 129 agro-climatic sub zones in India and limited to 127 and these all fall within 15 agro climatic zones of India as done by the Planning Commission of India. An agro-ecological region is the land unit on earth’s surface, carved out of agroclimatic region by superimposing climate on landforms and soils, which are the modifiers of climate and length of growing period. One-night climate school/block can be established in Government school during early night time for an hour. A man with above 60 years with wisdom and visionary mode may be nominated as block level climate manager.
