ABSTRACT
Chapter 12 describes a range of models that will be required to facilitate the implementation of Hyperconnected City Logistics in the future. Agent-based modelling systems incorporating learning agents using artificial intelligence are described. Optimisation procedures that incorporate more uncertainty as well as interactions between multiple stakeholders are outlined. Digital-twin concepts and gamification methods are discussed. This chapter highlights the needs for enhancing optimisation models to incorporate more uncertainty and dynamic data.
