ABSTRACT

Dobble is a game in which two or more players should find a symbol common between any two cards. This was known as a French game. It is known as a Spot It in the USA. The original game of Dobble was due to a French mathematics enthusiast Jacques Cottereau in 1976. He introduced a set of 31 cards, where each card has six images of insects and any two cards share exactly one image. In 2008, a game designer Denis Blanchot added more cards to develop the idea to create the current Dobble. Dobble has 55 cards, each of which has eight symbols. It can be played by two to five players. When the game starts, each player shouts a symbol that is common with his or her top card. The person who gets more cards will win the game.
