ABSTRACT
The assessment team should be getting access to the deliverables and documentation even before the engagement is started, but certainly no later than the project kickoff. The documentation review must be done by keeping the current phase of the project or program in consideration. In conducting a review of the documentation deliverables, the specific delivery and/or management methodology that is being used by the organization has to factor into the assessment that is being done. Documentation of the criteria made accountabilities very clear to the business users who were also providing requirements in the monthly sprints. The deliverable document lists contained in this section should be customized for the assessment project so that they correspond to the methodology or methodologies that are applicable to the project or program in scope. The single-page view of the key deliverables allows heat maps to be produced for conversation and presentation to all levels of the core project team.
