ABSTRACT

The existing deliverables and documentation that the project or program provided for review are the first source of information that is available to the assessment team to start getting their arms around the initiative. The health check team should work with the assessment sponsors, in conjunction with the project and corporate organization charts to identify specific individuals to interview. The End-to-End Interview process begins after a review of the scope and documentation provided to the assessment team. The assessment team should start with a thorough review of the project charter or business case to understand the objectives of the initiative they are about to assess. It is also useful to start building a set of orientation slides to serve as a preamble to the individual interviews. The Project Charter establishes the baseline and should exist in some form regardless of when a Health Check is commissioned in terms of the project lifecycle.
