ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book discusses and studies the methods of visual information representation and memory modelling based on the related research results of cognitive neuroscience. Friston's free energy theory provides a powerful theoretical framework to describe how the brain perceives and remembers external stimuli, but there are few specific application results. The book combines Friston's free energy theory with RBM to realize the learning and memory of visual information. The memory model based on free energy theory and RBM uses RBM as a probability generation model to simulate Friston's brain cognition and inference procedure.
