ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the fabrication and thermal desorption theory and characterization methods used throughout this study. Detailed fabrication flows of sample preparation and the basic principles behind all fabrication equipment are discussed. The thermal desorption spectroscopy setups and desorption theory used in this study are also introduced.
