ABSTRACT
The goal of this chapter (and probably the most important goal of this entire book) is to help you see the big picture of which tool does what. The following sections will group common programming-with-data components by purpose. All of the resulting groups represent aspects of programming with data, and I will move on to discuss these groups in a dedicated chapter each.
