ABSTRACT

Humans are innovative and eventually a number of them decided that a better, easier, and more comfortable means of accessing water was to build stepwells. The most popular location for stepwells was and still is the Indian subcontinent, extending into Pakistan. Humans thrive on making things easy and taking advantage of innovations. Several centuries passed before windmills of sorts began to be constructed and used in the 7th and 9th centuries in the Middle East. After the 16th century, windmills of all shapes, sizes, and types were constructed all around the world. After the spread of electricity and fossil fuel-powered internal combustion engines, the need for wind-powered machines decreased dramatically all around the globe, but some wind-powered machines have not become outmoded, antiquated. When windmills morphed into wind turbines, it quickly became obvious that wind turbines were almost perfect generators of electricity for commercial operations.
