ABSTRACT
This is an infection of the urinary tract with typical signs and symptoms. It may be classified as either a lower or upper (acute pyelonephritis) UTI.
Signs and symptoms of lower UTI include dysuria, frequency, urgency and suprapubic pain.
Signs and symptoms of upper UTI include fever/chills, flank pain and haematuria.
