ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the dynamic response (system behavior modeling) of the turbogenerator stages in a power station and discusses load division between generators. The chapter also introduces system modeling types, and introduces the basic principles of the generator, turbine, and system identification, and describes the mathematical model of these devices. The chapter focuses on the synchronous generator modeling concept in the power system, and the power system signal modeling also deals with the division of load between generators, amplitude and frequency estimation of power system, and Adaptive Hopf Oscillator. The chapter discusses steady-state stability.
