ABSTRACT
I n this first chapter of problems, we see in the title the letter G after the word “gases”. This calls for some explanation about the “disperse system formalism”, or DSF: it is a wonderful way to describe physical-chemical systems. Symbols designate the phases of which they are composed and are linked by “operators”, which describe the relationships between the phases.
