ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 are designed to introduce statistics and probability modeling to gain understanding and insights from data. If the world were perfectly predictable and contained no variability, there would be no need to understand statistics. Chapter 3 introduces critical statistical concepts to handle both univariate and multivariate data.
