ABSTRACT

This chapter reviews elements of the V-Model of product development its inherent flexibility and integration with the Agile methodology. The product owner has the option of incorporating changing requirements into the product design cycle by first conducting a detailed assessment and evaluating the impact of the change on either timelines or the budget. Should this prove to be a significant impact, product owner has the option of adding the requested change to a backlog for new feature release cycles. Prior to each release cycle, new features along with sustaining elements of the product are scored. Based on this score and the requirements for the release cycle, resource and budgets may be planned.
