ABSTRACT

Communication, by which I mean clear and concise communication, is not only fundamental to any documents that we write but also in any verbal presentations that we may make, be it in presentation halls, conference rooms, or hallway conversations with a colleague or with a supervisor. In this chapter, I discuss various types of written and verbal communications briefly and focus on developing a plot line when writing a report or preparing a presentation. Each plot line should have clear beginning, middle, and ending. This element is particularly important in slide presentation as each slide should have its subplot with beginning, middle, and end.
