ABSTRACT

This technology has been transforming the way people live and work. While it still has some limitations, it offers a variety of benefits and opportunities for businesses and individuals. The Internet of Things promises to revolutionize our lives in ways beyond what we can imagine today. From smart homes to efficient factories, IoT is greatly changing the way people work and live while improving productivity and profitability at the same time. Yet, despite these advances, cybersecurity remains a major concern for those adopting technology solutions like these. Smart devices have been around for a long time, but the Internet of Things is dramatically changing the way people interact with technology. IoT allows the identification and interconnection of all objects through the Internet to connect the traditionally offline world to the online world, improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce risks. Thus, any object with sensors and connectivity will be part of the IoT shortly, with wearable technologies being the natural bridge to achieve it. IoT will be made up of smart houses, smart cities, smart factories, and others. The first step is to provide daily life with smart objects (smart gadgets), part of which (those that can be worn) are wearable technology devices. IoT has experienced rapid expansion, with billions of devices connected with machines, appliances, sensors, wind turbines, medical devices, cars, and others.
