ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the echo assessment of right atrial morphology and size. Morphological assessment includes the recognition of embryological remnants such as crista terminalis, Eustachian valve or Chiari network, as well as checking for the presence of masses (tumour/thrombus) or a pacing wire or venous catheter. The echo estimation of right atrial pressure is also discussed.
